Kevin Wentz said in a statement that he and Kimberlee Singler were going through a contentious divorce. Her nine-year-old daughter Elianna and seven-year-old son Aden were found dead in their Colorado home. Singler, 35, was arrested in London and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse and one count of assault.
The UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) said she was arrested "without incident" in the Kensington area and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday for an extradition hearing to the United States. The detained woman will appear in court again on January 29.
The eldest girl was found injured and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. A funeral for Aden and Elianna is planned for late next week. The couple had been in divorce and custody dispute since 2018.
