British Foreign Secretary David Cameron met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba in Kiev yesterday.

During the meeting, Minister Cameron announced a "multi-year" military package of 3 billion pounds, the UK's largest support to date.

Cameron emphasized that the UK will spend 2.5 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) on defense and pledged to renew this amount for as long as Ukraine needs it.

DOMESTIC AMMUNITION PRODUCTION TO DOUBLE

The UK plans to invest a further 10 billion pounds over the next 10 years, doubling domestic munitions production, the UK Foreign Office said in a statement.

"We must all step up to provide Ukraine with what it needs to win. Through our multi-year military funding, through our provision of weapons, through our vital support to protect and restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Britain stands with Ukraine and we will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes."
