Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has officially entered the automotive sector. The brand introduced its long-awaited electric sedan SU7 (Speed Ultra).

Speaking at the event, the company's CEO Lei Jun stated that they will be one of the world's top 5 automakers in 15 to 20 years.

The V8 version of the model, which will come with 3 different units called V6, V6S and V8, will go into production in 2025.

The V6 model will produce 400 Nm torque and the V6S model will produce 500 Nm torque.

Working with the Chinese giant brand CATL on the battery, Xiaomi uses an 800V high-voltage integrated battery with a volume efficiency of 77.8 percent in this model.

The vehicle promises a range of 1200 kilometers with a 150 kWh battery pack, while the version with a 132 kWh pack offers a range of 1000 kilometers.

The interior of the vehicle is again characterized by technological touches. The 16.1-inch multimedia screen offers a 3K quality image. There is also a large 56-inch head-up display projected onto the windshield.
