Ruang Volcano in Indonesia's North Sulawesi province has become active.
In a statement made by the Indonesian Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG), it was announced that the volcano spewing lava and ash erupted and the alert level was raised to the second highest level.
It was stated that 838 people in the region were evacuated after the volcano erupted.
