Pence made statements regarding the elections in 2024 at the meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas.
Pence, who announced his candidacy from the Republican Party for the elections in question, announced that he will not continue the candidacy race.
Pence, who is known to lag behind other candidates in the polls in the US, said, "After much deliberation, I have decided to suspend my presidential campaign as of today."
"We always knew it would be an uphill battle, but I have no regrets," Pence said.
An August poll conducted by the Associated Press (AP) in partnership with the NORC Center for Public Affairs found that 57 percent of US adults view Pence unfavorably, while only 28 percent view him favorably.
