Five teams, including SEC co-regular season champion Tennessee, were ranked in the top 10 of the most recent USA Today Coaches poll. The conference also has the top four projected seeds of the NCAA Tournament, including five of the top eight, according to D1Baseball.

Before the conference can show off its best in the national spotlight, it first has to figure out which team is the best—by way of the SEC Tournament. The SEC is gearing up for the Road to the College World Series, which will be held at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. This will give us a sneak peek at which teams are really the cream of the crop ahead of the CWS.
The games start on Tuesday and run through Sunday, when the championship game will be played. The top four seeds—No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 3 Kentucky, and No. 4 Texas A&M—all got first-round byes for the tournament and will start playing on Wednesday.
