Sergey Mingazov, the Russian correspondent of Forbes, a respected business magazine headquartered in the US, has been detained.

Mingazov, who works for Forbes Russia, was reportedly detained for "false" news about the Russian army.

Mingazov's lawyer Konstantin Bubon said on his social media account that his client is being held in Khabarovsk.

Bubon noted that Mingazov's detention was ordered for reposting publications about Russia's war crimes in Bucha, where Ukrainian civilians were killed in the first weeks of the war.
