The Baltimore Police Department confirmed the shooting on the campus and warned students and staff to stay away from the scene in a post on its X social media account.
Making a statement a few hours after the incident, the police reported that the 4 people wounded in the attack were not in life-threatening condition.
City Councilor Ryan Dorsey also shared on his social media account that he was informed that the attack was carried out by 3 people.
No statement was made on whether there were any detentions related to the attack.
