The US is considering ending aid to Ukraine.
White House spokesman John Kirby stated in a press statement yesterday that the Ukraine issue is now at the end of the rope. This time the US has set its sights on Israel. It wants to transfer its resources there.
Kirby's statements are as follows:
"But in the near term, we have appropriations and authorisations for both Ukraine and Israel. But you don't want to try to provide long-term support when you're on the ropes.
And in Ukraine - on Ukraine financing - we are nearing the end of the rope. So we announced $200 million today and we will continue this assistance as long as we can, but it will not be indefinite.
So, are we in a hurry? Absolutely yes. I cannot give you an exact date on the calendar."
