Former US President and Republican candidate in the November elections Donald Trump criticized his rival Kamala Harris, who announced her economic policies, saying, “Kamala sounded like a communist in her speech.”
At an election rally in Pennsylvania, Trump compared Harris' economic policies to “the Soviet Union's economic system.”
“Kamala sounded like a communist in her speech. Comrade Kamala announced that he wants to implement socialist price controls. You have seen that this has never worked before,” Trump said. He also called it a “coup” that Harris, who currently serves as vice president, was nominated to replace President Joe Biden, who withdrew after being criticized within his party.
“Joe Biden hates her. This was the overthrow of a president,” he claimed.

Trump also took aim at Harris' drawing on the cover of Time magazine and belittled his rival.“They took a lot of pictures, but they didn't work, so they hired an artist,” Trump said about the magazine cover, adding, ”I look much better than Kamala.
”The economic policies of Harris, the Democratic candidate in the US elections to be held on November 5, aim to reduce the cost of groceries and prescription drugs, increase affordable housing and reduce taxes for the middle class. In this context, she plans to work with Congress on legislation to ban exorbitant price hikes on food and groceries.
