Ben McDonald, 51, had told police that Scott Swift, 72, attacked him on a dock in Sydney on February 27. Swift's press spokesperson said that two people displayed aggressive behavior towards the famous star during the incident.

After a month-long investigation, New South Wales police said no further action would be taken. The incident occurred after Scott Swift and his daughter got off a yacht in the hours after the last Eras Tour show in Sydney.

McDonald previously told the BBC that Swift was in a car when he "barged in" and attacked him without provocation. "I've been doing this for 23 years and I've never been in a situation where someone punched me," McDonald said.

The K-pop star ended his relationship! The K-pop star ended his relationship!

Swift's press spokesperson said: "Two people were aggressively advancing towards Taylor, grabbing security staff and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water."

Scott Swift, known to fans of the pop icon as "Papa Swift," accompanied his daughter on her global Eras Tour and left the country shortly after the incident.
