In the city of Brighton in the south of England, an entrepreneur who brings a different breath to politics has taken the step towards becoming the UK's first "AI MP".

Steve Endacott will run in the general elections to be held on 4 July with an avatar produced by artificial intelligence.

Endacott announced his candidacy in a post on LinkedIn, saying, "I'm starting my own party after being disappointed with how out of touch other parties are with the people of the UK."

Endacott states that his AI avatar will provide a platform that will make voters' views and policies accessible at all times.

It is stated that artificial intelligence will respond to voters' concerns and questions 24/7 using Endacott's voice and avatar.

During the nomination process, Endacott will compete as an independent candidate for technical reasons, despite being associated with the party called Smarter UK.
