Since its founding in 2006, Twitter, which has existed with the Twitter horse and has been in our lives with this name for years, has now literally turned into X. As you know, the new owner of the company, Elon Musk, changed Twitter's name to X to realize his dream of building a broader "everything website". Since July, both the app and the website have carried this title. The website address, however, had not changed. However, that change has now taken place and the site has moved to its new address. As of today, the social media platform will be accessible via X.com.

Of course, users who enter the old address are automatically redirected to this new address. However, at the first login, users are informed that the address change has taken place and that all permissions and settings at the previous address will also be valid at this new address.

With this last step, the process of turning into X is now complete. Elon Musk surprised everyone when he first announced this decision. Analysts said that this name change would cause the company to lose serious value. However, at the point we have reached today, this change seems to have been embraced by many people. We even see that people no longer find it strange to use the term X when referring to this social media platform. Of course, X is still not fully accepted, but the name change did not cause as big a crisis as initially thought. At the end of the day, Elon Musk is one step closer to his dream of building a site that will unite many things under the name X.com.
