The University of Vermont awarded an honorary diploma to the school's beloved cat.
In the university's post on the social media platform Facebook, it was stated that the cat named Max is a beloved member of the Castleton campus.
In the post, it was noted that Max, a member of a house near the campus, has been a frequent visitor to the campus for 4 years and has made friends with students.
It was stated that the university decided to award an honorary doctorate diploma to Max, who accompanied the students on their journeys around the campus.
Max the cat's diploma will be handed over to his owner Ashley Dow at tomorrow's graduation ceremony.
