Steve Buscemi was punched in the face while walking down the street in New York. "Another victim of a random attack in the city," his spokesperson said as he broke the news of the attack in Manhattan.

While it was learned that the 66-year-old actor was in good health, his spokesperson stated that the actor was "incredibly upset that this happened to him while walking the streets of New York, as it could happen to anyone".

After the attack, it was learned that the face and left eye of the star of the movie 'Fargo' were swollen, while the actor was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
Meanwhile, the attacker reportedly fled the scene.

New York police are in pursuit of the attacker wearing a baseball cap.  On the other hand, Michael Stuhlbarg, Buscemi's co-star in the series 'Boardwalk Empire', was subjected to a similar attack in Central Park a month ago.
