Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. Head of the Kiev Military Administration Sergey Popko announced in a statement that the Russian army carried out a missile attack on the Ukrainian capital Kiev after a 44-day break.

Popko stated that Russia used ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and strategic bombers in the attack and that the missiles targeted the city from different directions, adding that 13 people were injured.

"31 RUSSIAN MISSILES SHOT DOWN"

Ukrainian Air Force Commander Nikolai Oleshchuk announced that one Iskander and one Kinzhal ballistic missile and all 29 cruise missiles targeting the city were shot down.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klichko said the missile fragments hit residential buildings, an industrial site and a kindergarten.

Fires broke out in some areas and many parked vehicles were destroyed.
