Richard Gere had been away from the screens for a long time. It was announced that the actor will return to the screens with the thriller series called The Agency.

Prometheus star Michael Fassbender will accompany the actor in the series. It was recently announced that Jeffrey Wright was included in the series.

Gere will play a character named "Bosko" in the series. Gere will play an agent who previously worked undercover for 8 years.

The series is an American adaptation of "Le Bureau" and will be produced by George Clooney.

Fassbender will play a CIA agent who is ordered to leave his secret life and return to London Station, while Jeffrey Wright will play Fassbender's boss and mentor.

HIS FIRST BIG SERIES

This will be Gere's first series in which he has a regular role. The actor received an Emmy nomination in 1993 for his work in the TV movie "And the Band Played On" and in 2019 he starred in the British miniseries "MotherFatherSon" on BBC Two.

He is best known for his leading roles in films such as "An Officer and a Gentleman", "American Gigolo", "Pretty Woman", "Primal Fear" and "Chicago".

The actor received Golden Globe nominations for both "An Officer and a Gentleman" and "Pretty Woman" and won a Golden Globe for his work in "Chicago".
