A fight between two groups in a subway station in the Bronx in New York City, USA, has added a new case to the terror of armament in the country.

As the subway approached the Mount Eden Ave station, a person pulled out a gun and opened fire, injuring 6 people.

A 34-year-old man was killed in the incident. Among the injured were a 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and three adults aged 28, 29 and 71.

Some of the victims are believed to have been involved in a fight, while others were bystanders waiting for the train. Four of the injured are in serious condition.

61-year-old eyewitness Efrain Feliciano told the New York Daily News, "Two kids were yelling as the train was coming. At least six shots were fired at that time. I saw flashes as the bullets hit the wall. A woman was holding a screaming child."
