"Load management", one of the biggest agendas in the NBA in recent years, can cause serious debates from time to time. Ahead of the new season, the NBA Management is also taking action on this issue.

According to Shams Charania, the NBA's Board of Governors will vote this week on a new regulation that states that a team cannot have two stars on the bench in the same game.

The term "star" will be defined as an All-Star or a player who has been an All-Star in the last three seasons.

NOTE: The concept of "Load Management" means that teams in the league do not play their star players in certain games with a long-term view to protect them from physical wear and tear and injuries.
