'Star Trek: The Next Generation', 'Star Trek: Voyager' and 'My Own Private Idaho', Mickey Cottrell, known for his roles in the movies, received sad news.

Actor, producer and publicist Cottrell passed away at the age of 79 in a nursing home in Woodland Hills California.
 
"HE WAS SMILING WHEN HE DIED"

The actress's death was announced by her sister Suzy Cottrell-Smith. Smith said in a statement, "My lovely, funny, critical, gourmet, special, intelligent, loving brother passed into the next life in the early hours of New Year's Day. He was smiling when he died. Mickey Cottrell will be missed by many," she said, expressing her sadness.
 
Suzy Cottreal-Smith also said that her brother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and had a stroke in 2016.

HIS LAST MOVIE WAS 'I DO'

On the other hand, Mickey Cottrell, who was born on September 4, 1944 in Springfield, worked behind the scenes for a long time. The actor, who first appeared on the big screen in 1991, has been working around the spotlight for 40 years. Mickey Cottrell's last movie was 2012's 'I Do'.
