According to national media reports, a tragic incident occurred at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as a KLM plane was preparing to take off for Billund, Denmark.
A person was killed when the "KLM Cityhopper" aircraft was pulled into the engine during operation.
It is not clear whether this person was a passenger or not and what he was doing there when the engine was running.
Aircraft personnel and passengers said that the incident occurred while the plane was reversing.
On the other hand, the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported that an airplane crew member who was questioned claimed that the person in question jumped into the engine of the plane.
The identity of the person killed has not yet been determined.
Dutch police announced that passengers were removed from the plane and an investigation was launched.
