Posting on her Instagram account, Lizzo said, "I'm tired of fighting against being lynched by everyone in my life and on the internet. All I want to do is make music and make people happy and make the world a little better than I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it anymore," he said.
"Lies are told about me all the time for bonus and clicks," said Lizzo, "I am the target of every joke because of my appearance."
Lizzo said, "My character is criticized by people who don't know me and my name is taken disrespectfully. This is not the work you signed me for." Lizzo then wrote in capital letters, "I QUIT".
After Lizzo's post, many names such as Paris Hilton published a message of support for her.
