First unveiled in January 2024, the Hall of Legends aims to honor those who have graced the League of Legends scene. The inaugural class of inductees was selected by an independent panel of esports industry veterans and experts.

Mercedes-Benz will also contribute to the commemoration by creating a piece of art for the player highlighting his or her greatest achievements. In addition, Faker will receive a customized Mercedes-AMG SL 63.

The automaker has been a global partner of all League of Legends eSports events since 2020, sponsoring four consecutive World Championships and collaborating on initiatives such as the 2021 World Championship rings.

More details on the in-game event and Mercedes-Benz awards will be announced in the coming weeks.

Since his debut in 2013, Faker has become one of the most recognizable names in League of Legends and esports. As a mid-laner for esports organization T1, he has won 10 LCK titles, two Mid-Season Invitational titles, and four World Championship trophies, earning him the nickname "The Unkillable Demon King".
