CNN's Chris Wallace asked David how much the previous election issue and "everything that came out of this election" bothered him. The comedian did not hold back and attacked the former president, claiming that he was endangering American democracy.

"You can't go a day without thinking about what he did to this country because he's such a little baby," David said, according to a clip from the interview that will air Friday on CNN Max. “By not accepting the results [of the election], he threw 250 years of democracy out the window.”

The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star added that she thinks the former president is a "sociopath."

“He's so crazy. He couldn't accept losing. And we know you lost! He knows he lost. "And look how he fooled everybody," David said. "He convinced all these people that he hadn't lost. He's such a sick man. He's so sick."

"Anyway, no, it didn't affect me at all," he joked later.

David has often shown that he has little affection for the former president.

On season 10 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," David wore one of Trump's "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) hats and said it was "a great thing that turns people off." His demonstrations also drew criticism from Trump's allies in Washington, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

Greene criticized a segment she said portrayed conservatives in Georgia and the former president's supporters as "racist and hotheaded."

“I watched this week's episode of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' and it was a glaring reminder of why many Georgians are angry that Republicans in our state are inviting evil communists from California, the Hollywood elite, into our state by handing out Hollywood tax credits.” Greene said in February.
