It was reported that Greek and US soldiers started joint military training. In a statement made by the Greek General Staff, it was stated that within the scope of the military cooperation of the two countries, the Real Firing Exercise and Field Training Exercise in Magnesia and Pieria regions of Greece started yesterday.
The statement said that the training was attended by the personnel and vehicles of the Greek Land Forces Command, the Special Warfare Command of the Greek General Staff and the personnel of the 26th Naval Expeditionary Unit from the United States.
The training, which aims to examine amphibious and Special Operations elements, is expected to end on January 17.
