The body of Leonel Esteban Borroni was found by a friend at his home in Buenos Aires after he had not answered phone calls for a long time.
Police sources said they suspect the 40-year-old Borroni committed suicide but are awaiting autopsy results.
It was learned that Borroni, whose electronic devices allegedly contained pedophilia material, sent farewell messages to his loved ones after his house was raided as part of the ongoing investigation.
Five men and one woman, aged between 20 and 50, were also involved in the investigation. Borroni is accused of possessing and illegally distributing child pornography and has no previous criminal record.
