iMessage exploit: TrustWallet announces the discovery of a vulnerability for iOS users!

The developers of the cryptocurrency wallet app Trust Wallet have drawn attention to an attack that could target iOS users.

According to a post shared on the official wallet app of cryptocurrency wallet app Trust Wallet, a new vulnerability has been detected in the iMessage app and iOS users' cryptocurrency holdings could be at great risk.

In its official statement, Trust Wallet said the following:

"Warning for iOS users: We have reliable information about a high-risk zero-day vulnerability targeting the iMessage app on the Dark Web.

With this, attackers can infiltrate your iPhone even if you don't click on any links. There are likely to be high-priority targets. Each use increases the risk of detection.

The recommended action to protect against this iMessage vulnerability is to disable iMessages as soon as possible until Apple fixes it.

Settings -> Messages -> Turn off iMessage. Continue to take this precaution until Apple releases a security update."
