Hollywood veteran Halle Berry's new movie will never meet the audience. The Oscar-winning star's The Mothership was canceled by the digital platform.
Berry, who was both the lead actress and producer of the movie, played Sara Morse, who encountered an extraterrestrial object under her house after her husband mysteriously disappeared in the movie.
Filming of the science fiction movie began in June 2021 and ended the same year. The movie was planned to be released in 2022.
WHY WAS IT CANCELED?
According to Variety, delays in the production process after the end of filming led to the decision to cancel.
Names such as Molly Parker and Omari Hardwick starred in the movie. Berry still has a deal with the digital platform. The actor's new movie is titled Our Man From Jersey.
