The UK Health and Safety Agency (UKHSA) reported that the A(H1N2)v strain of influenza virus found in pigs in the country was seen in a human for the first time.
In a statement made by UKHSA, it was stated that A(H1N2)v virus was found in a person with respiratory symptoms during routine national flu screening carried out in partnership with family doctors.
