Life

If 24 hours a day is not enough, don't miss these tips to save up to twenty hours a week!

Life is a constant rush. From the responsibilities we have to take on in order to live, it is not possible to spare time for what we want to do. So how can we make time for the things we want to add to ourselves apart from all this?

1. To-do list A complicated to-do list can stress you out and reduce your productivity. When you are faced with too many to-do items, you are likely to feel overwhelmed. So try to declutter your to-do list. Remove non-priority tasks from your list. This way you will find that you can get more done in less time when you prioritize other items. If you finish these prioritized tasks and still have the time and energy, you can return to the tasks you removed. Don't be a doer with a never-ending to-do list.

2. Regular sleep Your mornings are very important. Remember, it's not when you wake up that matters, but what you do when you wake up. When you wake up not knowing what to do, you put things off, stay in bed too long or check your phone. Planning your day the night before can prevent this. It only takes a few minutes. If you have the energy to get out of bed, you can make a list of things to do in the morning. If you think this would be better for you, you can try it.

3. Repeated actions Every day, software and artificial intelligence are getting better at automating repetitive tasks. You will be surprised at the amount of things you can leave to machines or other people. So you can focus more on the things that have a significant impact on your life and career. By automating repetitive tasks, you free up time to focus on what really matters.

4. Screen time It is easy to fall for the fleeting appeal of social media. Sometimes we forget how much time we spend on our phones or computers. So what can you do to minimize screen time, even if your work is mostly screen-based? Set a set time to check your social media and email and stick to it. Try to curb the urge to constantly check your phone. Leave your phone away from your workspace when you are working. Finally, don't look at your phone while lying down. Your sleep and dreams don't need your phone screen.

5. Briefly, Ask yourself: 'Are these things that keep me busy really important in my life and career?' Say goodbye to to-do lists, unplanned mornings, unnecessary screen time and repetitive tasks. Make time for the things that really matter to you. You can always make more money or work more in the future. But time, once lost, is something you can't get back, so find ways to use it well and avoid wasting your time on things that don't matter.
