Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales attempted to poke fun at the nature of Bitcoin (BTC). However, social media reactions showed that the joke was far from funny. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Wales said:
"I forgot my bank password and lost my entire fortune. No, that didn't actually happen because banks work but Bitcoin doesn't."
