According to Israeli media reports, hundreds of Israelis gathered in front of the Defense Ministry in the capital Tel Aviv.

The "support for the relatives of captives" demonstration turned into a protest against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Activists chanted slogans such as "Netanyahu should go to jail" and "Netanyahu resign".

Banners reading "Netanyahu, your hands are stained with blood", "We are left alone", "Bring back the prisoners now" and "No trust, resign" attracted attention during the demonstration.

On the morning of October 7, the armed wing of Hamas, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and other Palestinian groups launched a comprehensive attack on Israel under the name of "Al-Aqsa Flood". Palestinian groups captured many civilians and soldiers from Israeli settlements and military points around the Gaza Strip.

In Israel, 4 out of every 5 Jews blame the country's leadership for the attack launched by Palestinian groups from the blockaded Gaza Strip on October 7 and its consequences.

According to a survey conducted by the Dialogue Center in Israel among 620 Jews across the country, 86 percent of the respondents hold the country's administration responsible for the attack by Palestinian groups in Gaza.
