Several crypto investors CNBC spoke to said the world's top cryptocurrency will soar in 2024, with all-time high price forecasts ranging from $100,000 to $250,000.

Bitcoin's price hasn't moved much since news broke of SEC ETF approval, in which the agency gave the green light to 11 products.

The regulator approved rule changes to allow the creation of ETFs, but emphasized that the move "should in no way signal the Commission's willingness to approve listing standards for cryptoasset securities."

Since the SEC's move on Wednesday, prices have reacted significantly. Bitcoin's price was trading at $46,118 on Friday, down about 0.4%.

It briefly surpassed $49,000, reaching levels not seen since December 2021.

But over time, ETFs are expected to combine with other developments in the crypto world to lead to major upward movements in Bitcoin.

"I think this is a really big breakthrough for bitcoin as a digital asset, it's a much broader story for digital property in general," Scaramucci told CNBC's Arjun Kharpal at the CfC conference in St Moritz. I think bitcoin will probably see an all-time high by the end of the year and will probably hit an all-time high by the end of the year."

As for the price Scaramucci expects for Bitcoin, the famous investor said he thinks the cryptocurrency will reach $100,000 next year.

"Could Bitcoin be $100,000, so could it more than double or a little bit more than double next year? I believe it," Scaramucci said, warning that he has been wrong many times before.
