Emma Stone, who won the Best Actress award at this year's Academy Awards for Yorgos Lanthimos' film "Poor Things", recently said in an interview that she would like to use her real name. Stone said, "It would be nice. I would like to be Emily," she said.
According to Ntv, the actress, who could not use her real name because another actress had taken the name "Emily Stone" in the Actors Guild, said, "A few years ago, I freaked out. For some reason, I said, 'I can't do this anymore. Just call me Emily,'" she said.
The actress, who said she was a big Spice Girls fan, said that she chose the name "Emma" because she loved Emma Button, a member of the group, very much.
