A 20-year-old mother was allegedly taken into normal labor despite requests for a caesarean section. After attempting a normal delivery throughout the night, the mother underwent a caesarean section. The baby's body was then delivered.

Doctors allegedly refused the parents' requests for an autopsy and charged high bills for the autopsy.

The parents said that when they saw the baby for the last time and wanted to hold it, they saw that the baby's head was separated from its body. The baby was allegedly wrapped tightly in a blanket to hide the fact that the baby's body integrity had been compromised.

The hospital, doctors and staff were all sued. An investigator was assigned to the case and an autopsy of the baby was ordered. The mother was "awake" during all attempts at childbirth and "suffered unbearable pain", the lawsuit said, and sought compensation.
