The Minnesota Timberwolves star threw down an absolutely ridiculous dunk in the second half of their 114-104 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night at the Delta Center. Edwards got up on a fast break and didn't hesitate as he put the Jazz ahead of John Collins on a poster.

Edwards actually threw the dunk so hard that it looked like he hurt his finger in the process. Edwards was fouled on the play and stayed in the game.

Via Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Nickiel Alexander-Walker said, "I'll tell my kids this: I passed. That's my assist," she said. "I can really say, 'Oh, I was about to shoot it but I turned it back.' ... What she did, bro, she got me going. I was going crazy for the rest of the game."

Edwards said it was without a doubt the best dunk of his career.

Collins was taken out of the game late in the fourth quarter for a dunk that was ruled a concussion. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, he was diagnosed with a head injury but survived the concussion.

Edwards entered Monday averaging a career-high 26.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5 assists this season, fourth in the league. The former No. 1 overall pick earned his second consecutive All-Star nomination this season and signed a five-year, $260 million extension with the Timberwolves last summer.

Despite falling to a 16-point deficit late in the first quarter, the Timberwolves managed to get back in the game and then went on a quick 12-1 run midway through the fourth. From there, they went on to take the 10-point win.

Collin Sexton led the Jazz with 24 points off the bench. Lauri Markkanen had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Keyonte George had 15 points and 8 assists. The Jazz, who have lost two straight and eight of their last 10 games to the Timberwolves, have a record of just 29-39.

Edwards led the Timberwolves with 32 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds on 13/23 shooting. Naz Reid added 17 points and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 13 points off the bench. The Timberwolves have three games in a row and will return home on Tuesday night to start a four-game series against the Denver Nuggets.
