The satellites were launched by a Kuaicou-1A carrier rocket from the Ciuçüen Satellite Center in the Gobi Desert, Xinhua reported.
The satellites, intended to be used for commercial meteorological data services, settled into their planned orbital position after the launch.
The launch was the 24th successful transportation mission carried out by the Kuaicou-1A rocket.
The first two satellites, part of the "Tienmu" satellite network, whose name means "Mother Sky" in Chinese, were launched on January 9, the second group of four satellites on March 22, the third group on July 20 and the fourth group on December 25.
