According to data from Glassnode, the cryptocurrency has experienced significant user growth this year, adding about 2.6 million active Bitcoin accounts. While the current active account total is estimated at around 20.19 million, it has yet to surpass the peak of around 20.8 million in December 2020.
Bitcoin-holding investors have seen a significant increase in profitability, with around 89.6% of accounts now profitable. This is a significant increase compared to the end of the previous year, when only 51.4% of accounts were profitable.
