LIKENED IT TO 20TH CENTURY ANXIETIES

Gates likened the fears of artificial intelligence to the concerns about developing technology in the 20th century.

He reminded that most of the world's population was engaged in agriculture in the early 1900s, and that developing technology caused concern at that time as well.

"NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WILL EMERGE"

In the early 20th century, Gates said, "Many new lines of work have emerged, and it is indisputable that we are much better off as humanity than we were in the agricultural period."

He also said that new employment opportunities will emerge instead of jobs that disappear due to artificial intelligence.

He noted that artificial intelligence has many features such as "providing education, helping to write code and providing technical support".

Gates emphasized that the integration of artificial intelligence into the fields of education and medicine will be of great benefit. He pointed out that the technology working over the Internet does not require new hardware.

IMF WARNS ON GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT

It is estimated that millions of people will lose their jobs due to artificial intelligence.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently warned that 40 percent of global employment could be negatively affected by artificial intelligence.

Bill Gates said in recent months that everyone will have an artificial intelligence personal assistant after 5 years, but commented, "Artificial intelligence is too stupid for now."
