The trial of Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden on charges of buying a gun while under the influence of drugs continued in Delaware District Court. Witnesses continued to testify on the 4th day of the trial.

Hallie Biden, the wife of Hunter Biden's brother Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer, and who had a relationship with Hunter Biden after the death of her husband, said that she first found the drugs Hunter Biden used in 2015-2016. Between 2017 and 2018, Hallie Biden stated that she had conversations with Hunter Biden about drug use and told him, "This can't go on like this, we can't do this." Hallie Biden said that Hunter Biden sometimes said, "Leave me alone, I'm fine," and sometimes said, "I'm an addict and I will solve this in my own way."

Hallie Biden, who confirmed that she used drugs with Hunter Biden for a period of time, said, "It was a terrible experience. I am ashamed, embarrassed and regret that period of my life," she said, emphasizing that she stopped using drugs in August 2018.

On October 23, 2018, Hallie Biden stated that she went to clean Hunter Biden's car while he was asleep and found a gun along with drugs, stating that it was the first time she had seen a gun so close that day. Noting that she was scared when she saw the gun, Hallie Biden said, "I panicked and wanted to get rid of the gun. I didn't want Hunter to hurt himself or his children." For this reason, Hallie Biden said that she decided to get rid of the gun, "I took it to a grocery store and threw the gun in the trash can there." Stating that Hunter Biden was angry with her for throwing the gun in the trash, Hallie Biden added that she did not personally witness Hunter Biden using drugs between October 6 and October 22, 2018.

THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE GUN FROM THE TRASH TESTIFIED

Former police officer Millard Greer said that they could not find Hunter Biden's gun in the trash can where it was thrown away, but they found that a man collecting recycling materials took the gun. Edward Banner, who later took the witness stand, confirmed that he found a gun in a trash can in front of a grocery store in Delaware in 2018 and took the gun.

COULD FACE 25 YEARS IN PRISON

Hunter Biden, who is known to have turned to drugs and alcohol after his brother Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015, is accused of purchasing firearms in the state of Delaware in 2018 while in the grip of drug addiction. The charges against Hunter Biden include lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making false statements when buying a gun, and illegally possessing a gun for 11 days. It is stated that Hunter Biden could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison at the end of the trial, which is important because it is the first time the son of a sitting US president appears before a judge.
