In Delaware, where the White House and the President's home are located, "Commander" bit another Secret Service personnel, the 11th bite case was recorded.

It was reported that the German shepherd dog, which arrived at the White House in 2021, attacked at least 10 Secret Service personnel from October 2022 to January 2023.

HOSPITALIZED

It was reported that several of "Commander's" bite incidents required medical intervention, and an official was hospitalized in November 2022 after he attacked his arms and legs.

White House officials stated that after the biting incidents, the Biden family worked on a new training for the dog and prepared areas where it would be more active.

Elizabeth Alexander, Communications Director of Biden's wife Jill Biden, pointed out that the White House complex is a "stressful environment for pets" and stated that the Biden family is looking for ways to make the situation better for everyone.

The two-year-old German shepherd "Commander" was gifted to Biden by his brother James Biden in December 2021.
