The Austrian government announced that it has suspended financial aid worth a total of 19 million euros to the Palestinian Authority.
"We are suspending all Austrian development payments for the time being," Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg told O1 radio.
Stating that Vienna expects the situation in Israel to get worse before it gets better, Schallenberg noted that the situation in the region is very volatile.
Schallenberg announced that they stopped financial aid worth a total of 19 million euros to Palestine after the escalation of clashes between Hamas and Israel.
What happened?
On the morning of October 7, the military wing of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel under the name of "Aqsa Flood".
