An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred in the Azilal region in northern Morocco.

According to the Moroccan National Geophysical Institute, there was no loss of life or property in the earthquake that occurred in the morning hours.

Nasser Jabour, the head of the institute, told the official television channel that today's 5.1-magnitude earthquake was a continuation of the 7-magnitude earthquake in the El-Huz region on September 8.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed and more than 6,000 injured in the earthquake that hit El-Huz in Morocco on September 8. In the said earthquake, many lives were also lost in the Azilal region.
