Abdul-Razak, known as "Chef Faila", set a new record in the northern Ghanaian city of Tamale on January 1 by cooking for 227 hours.

Abdul-Razak had announced on January 1 that he would end his cooking on January 5, but he continued until January 10 because he was full of energy.

Abdul-Razak distributed most of the food he cooked to poor and homeless people and orphanages.

Chef Abdul-Razak also surpassed the Guinness World Record set by Irish chef Alan Fisher in November 2023, when he cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
